Overview
The department caters to needs of a large number of outpatients and inpatients every year. Situated in the tertiary hospital campus, the department provides services to all patients who report from the surrounding local areas, but also from far off places:
- Skin diseases like white spots, eczema and others
- Sexual dysfunction, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS
- Leprosy
- Nail diseases
- Diseases of mouth
- and by freezing (cryotherapy)
- Diseases of genital areas
- Warts and skin tags by radiofrequency, electrocautery, CO2 laser
- Hair diseases like loss of hair, excess face/body hair
- Pigmentation, acne, acne scars, facial hair and facial rejuvenation by IPL
- Hair loss by PRP (platelet rich plasma)
- Non-healing ulcers by PRP
- White spots and other skin diseases by narrowband UVB (light treatment)
